Wow, the colors in this are perfect! A wonderful balance of jewel tone and neutral!
I like that you also kept in the rule of thirds, but pushed the envelope just a bit, making the framing unique.
The lighting, exposure, saturation, and sharpness are great too. The way you have the ripples of the water perfectly in focus, while having the foreground just barely out of focus is excellent.

The placement of the ducks is good too, as it leads the viewers eyes along the edge of the farther shore.

I wouldn't mind painting this in a watercolor/gouache mixed media. Though the ripples, leaves, and slight out of focus foreground already give it a painterly feel to it.
